Structured help
In addition to monthly sponsor support Child Sponsor Programme has short and long term projects every year, aiming to provide structured help to needy children and families. We do this through school projects, employment projects, medical projects and housing projects.
A major goal of Child Sponsor Programme is to help sponsored families to become financially independent. In a lot of eastern European countries unemployment rages fiercely, and for sponsored parents it is very hard to find a regular job. Child Sponsor Programme stimulates the families to set up a small business, in order to support themselves. Entrepreneurs and business people in the Netherlands and abroad can make their own important con tribution to that, by keeping contact and with, or by putting financial means at our disposal.
